Call For Submissions

African Nova Scotian artists, writers, storytellers and historians are invited to submit works in the following genres:

  • Short stories
  • Poetry
  • Visual art (painting, drawing, photography, mixed-media)
  • Quilts
  • Folk songs
  • Folklore artifacts
  • Folk stories (including ghost stories)
  • Folklore practices (nicknaming, dialect, language) of local communities
