Voices Storytellers
Voices Storytellers is an associate performance troupe of Voices Black Theatre Ensemble. The goal of the troupe is to create a cultural dialogue using the stories and folklore of African Nova Scotians. The troupe’s Talk That Talk series is a selection African Nova Scotian tales performed by individual and collective members at schools and community events. The late Wanda Robson (1926-2022) the ‘baby sister’ of Canadian civil rights icon Viola Desmond was a long-time member of this troupe.
