Lucie Chan

Guyana-born Lucie Chan makes mixed media layered installations exploring cultural narratives. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at such venues as Centre A, Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, Oxygen Art Centre, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Mount Saint Vincent University Art Gallery, and MAI (Montréal Arts Interculturels). She has also participated in group exhibitions at the National Gallery of Canada, Carleton Art Gallery, Dalhousie Art Gallery, MOCCA, Richmond Art Gallery, TRUCK Gallery, and Oboro. She received the VIVA award in 2020 and is an Associate Professor at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University.
